Instead of a couch, we installed a wooden platform stacked with pillows to lend depth to the space. First, a lower sitting arrangement makes your ceiling appear higher, and second, the platform’s wood finish blends in perfectly with the bench-style dining table, fusing the two practical things in the room.
A Personal Touch
